Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

Recived the bike in good time thanks to prime! But Shortly found when I opened the amazon box and found that this is not the “Pro” clasp edition its the normal RGT FF CE. It works well for iracing and is a good mess for the product. I would recomend this for gamers alike myself that similar to get fun and are not super grave nigh the game. Purchase a nice Logitech bike6 for that. It does have a number to stimulate utilized to since this is my foremost bike since when they applied your mouse straped to the wheel. Entirely in completely Im happy with it looks rugged and has worked considerably Thrustmaster Rally GT Force for me hence far. Ive owned it for almost 2 weeks.I ain a line with 12 PC simulators in an LAN coursing Nascar Racing 2003 season, hence I’ve discovered lots of wheels in the last 5 years. Starting with the PROS: The price was good, solid feel, pedals are comfortably aside from each other, lots of force/resistance. CONS: noisy (squeaks), small diameter bicycle and the stack breaker *** The buttons cannot exist assigned to keyboard commands *** There are entirely drivers for windows, no literal programming software. I employed Saitek wheels (no longer available) for years, receive (2) Logitech G-25’s (not price effective) and get since impressed on to the Logitech Driving Pull GT (Stellar Wheel). This cycle may be good for newer games that entirely the commands are not linked to keyboard strokes simply doesn’t form for my needs.

Logitech G27 Racing Bicycle Reviews

Friday, March 18th, 2011

I utilisation this bike for iRacing with my PC. It’s my first racing wheel and first realistic racing sim. Cables drape down to the computer on the right nicely without any sort of containment needed. I think the leather varies in quality, mine has a little twist to it on the left incline where my ovolo rests on the spoke, peradventure due to my early death-grip when getting applied to the experience. I yet believe it’s acceptable.

The reason I’m writing this review is to save the new guys (like me) a little time by doing some extra set-up in the Logitech program. Logitech has a pre-set 200 grade limit that imposes substantial resistance at 100 degrees off-of-center in either direction. The iRacing plan calibrates to this limit instead of the 900 point travel that the bike7 is open of. The consequence is that the game interprets the first0 90 degrees off-of-center correctly, then tries Logitech G27 Racing Wheel to squeeze the remaining channelising locomote (about a full rotation) into the finally 10 degrees ahead hit Logitech’s 100 degree stop. The upshot of this “mis-calibration” is a consummate loss of movement tire traction whenever you croak past 90 degrees and the wheels jerk to full-lock. This is corrected through the Logitech settings, not within the game. I’m not sure if it will be a trouble with other games, I haven’t heard it remarked in any other reviews.

I haven’t had any real problems with the G27 in the first0 three months and am having a blast improving my driving and learning to race in the simulator. I highly recomend this for anyone who is enthusiastic almost race cars and wants to drive a “realistic” simulation.
