Nimmanhaemin, hip street of Chiang Mai

Author: Nimmanhaemin Rd, Nimman is Chiang Mai's chicest neighbourhood. Since the mid-00s the kilometer-long road between Huay Kaew and Suthep has attracted trendy coffee shops, natty boutiques, raging and coolheaded night spots and some of the city's nearly mod apartments. If you desire to exist heard – or desire to ticker people who desire to exist heard – this is probably the spot for you.
Night Spirit Recommend
The Scallywag Gild – where it altogether started! Originally a little bar, this is immediately a hip venue with live music, sushi and terribly coolheaded tikes in a chilled water, steel and glass setting.
Warm Up – supposedly the hottest spot in town. The crowds here chill out to funk and jazz in the outdoor area, while inside the beats keep a trendy gang on their feet. Sushi bar and a total restaurant, as well as anything you could conceive of to drink.
Shopping Recommend
Nimman Promenade – a couple of alleys lined with little boutiques selling peck of strange and eye-catching object from art and antiques to way and jewellery. Properly future to Wawee on the occident side of the street.
Soi 1 – this soi future to Rincome hotel is lined with stores featuring the best of Chiang Mai's hand-made furniture, arts and crafts.
Kasem Store – Not the original location, but mayhap the nearly accessible. Kasem Store has been purveying fine foodstuffs, both local and imported, to Chiang Mai for decades. The Nimman leg carries altogether the usuals.
Gerard Collection – showroom for a local exporter of finely-made and distinctive bamboo furniture. Elegant, mod designs, durable and sustainable too.
